October Wrap Up

Happy Almost Halloween, Everyone!

I'm sending out my newsletter a few days early, since I'm due for my Covid booster shot, and it might knock me out for a few days. Gotta get everything done before then!

Things have been a bit hectic around here this month. As many of you know, I've been struggling with anxiety and depression as of late. Reading and writing have been a challenge, which included getting my Christmas novel ready for release next week!

I was lucky enough to be able to take a vacation to get away from the stress and turn everything off for a bit. I went to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and boy was it beautiful there. Getting away was just what I needed, and I'm very grateful for the reset.

Now that I'm home, it's full steam ahead for There's No Crying at Christmas!

There's No Crying at Christmas is an enemies to lovers small town romance that takes place - you guessed it - in Tennessee. It's fast, fun, funny, and of course, steamy.

There's No Crying at Christmas comes out November 4th, and can still be preorder for only $.99 until then.

I have an amazing ARC team, and feedback so far has been wonderful. There's also been a big push for a side character to get his own book, and I must say, the idea does appeal to me... I'm thinking on that one.

FALLing: A Best Friends to Lovers Romance has been doing amazing, and I am so grateful to everyone who has purchased, read, and reviewed this book.

I had way too much fun writing this one, and I'm thrilled that my enthusiasm translated onto the page.

FALLing can be read for FREE at anytime with Kindle Unlimited. It can also be purchased for $3.99 ebook and $23.99 paperback.

I'm sad to say I've done very little reading this month. While on vacation, I didn't pick up a book once. It's been difficult for me to focus enough to properly get into a story. As frustrating as that is, sometimes these things happen.

And my indie author friends write such amazing books that I don't want to half read any of their wonderful creations.

Hopefully next month will be better, and I'll be able to dive back into reading and make up for lost time.

Coming Up Next

I am going to do my best to fully participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). It'll be my third year participating, and I'm really excited.

The book idea that's been floating around in my head is heavier than my normal books, but will still play with the idea of missed love, second chances, and a bit of enemies to lovers. I'm hoping it doesn't turn out quite as dark as it currently is in my head.

Fingers crossed!

In the meantime, grab your copy of There's No Crying at Christmas and get to know Allie, Cole, and Adam. Feel the angst and the holiday spirit.

Both FALLing and There's No Crying at Christmas have pretty memorable Thanksgiving scenes, so grab both and see which one you relate to the most!

Until next time, Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, and as always,

Happy Reading!
